Stephen Watson Original Art
(Stephen Watson is a younger brother of Captain Paul Watson)
Stephen was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, on the east coast of Canada. During his childhood, Stephen lived in both Ontario and New Brunswick, and although he has settled in Ontario, he still refers to New Brunswick as his home.
Stephen has been painting and creating artwork since he was quite young and his development is self-directed. He likes to work with watercolour and ink, and has experimented with acrylics and their application to his unique style.
Often his subject matter is designed to elicit a response of the viewer's social and environmental conscience and was therefore honored when his painting was chosen to be the cover of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's Christmas card in 2000.
Stephen's paintings are very detailed taking upwards of a year to complete. Stephen lives in London, Ontario, with his wife, Renee, and two of his children.
